SEPTEMBER ROUND UP POST

Hey WILD Fam!,

It’s been a minute, I trust we are doing amazing?

Toolz here, bringing you all the UPDATES that have gone down in the WILD.

From August down to September, the WILD was on a break that was initially supposed to last for 2 weeks, but then got extended and we were on a break that lasted for 6 WHOLE weeks.

Exciting News though!, we are BACK with a BANG and a few interesting changes.

We also took our sweet time to interview 5 sisters who shared their experiences during the BREAK with us

Read below

Uche-collins Favour ( Wild Kain-soteria)

INTERVIEWER: How did you feel when the break was announced? Then extended?

FAVOR: When the break was announced, I felt like I was going to miss a lot, but then I said to myself “this is another season God is opening up for me to get tested”, to show all I have learnt, if truly I have learnt.

Then when we were coming close to the resumption, I was excited that I will get to hear and see my sisters but all of a sudden it was extended 😩😩 though I wasn’t happy, but I saw it again as,

“All things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose”

I saw it as God still working in me, and moulding me.

INTERVIEWER: What did you do during the break?

FAVOR: During the break, I remained connected to my inner circle sisters, we formed a group where we still pray together, study the word and it was really nice, I still had a few challenges- health wise, financial, marital and I came out victorious in all. Glory be to God.

INTERVIEWER: How are you feeling about us getting back and especially all Eziaha shared at the first meeting after the break?

FAVOR: I believe God that the resumption of the WILD is another level of the wild in terms of Encounters. I am coming HUNGRY NOT JUST CURIOUS. I am really excited, seeing that CaptainE’ is coming in fresh in another dimension.

Chidinma Nwadike (Kain-soteria)

INTERVIEWER: How did you feel when the break was announced? Then extended?

CHIDINMA: My emotions tried getting the best out of me. One part of me was bothered, I was like “so what would my Friday night look like during the break?”.

The WILD has been keeping me in check I must say. It was like an accountability plan for my life. I feel like my Fridays are kind of consecrated no matter how tired or stressful my day must have been, I must show up for prayers. Even if I’m not praying for myself, I rather intercede for others.

On the other hand, I was happy, because It was an opportunity for me to rest and enjoy my Friday night sleep. My flesh was telling me I can use that time to sleep well, but I refused to listen to that voice. I don’t want to quench the fire that I have before

The WILD has also sharpened my spiritual growth plan, because I am reminded that Jesus is the goal on all sides.

When the break was announced I felt like I may let my guard down which I really don’t want. The WILD community is part of my life. I realised that the break was needed for me to buckle up. I had to put everything I have been taught to use and also hold myself accountable.

INTERVIEWER: What did you do during the break?

CHIDINMA: At first I wanted to relax (covers face), but I thought to myself “that’s too risky abeg”, I used that period to evaluate my life and the things I have given my attention and commitment to.

I needed to commit to spending more time with God, I was really struggling with waking up earlier to pray than just waking up to preparing for work.

I talked to God about my struggles. I started pushing myself up to wake up to fellowship with the Lord.

I started reading FIREBRAND BOOK BY DDK and using the prayers in it to pray, it really helped me. The Holy Spirit has been a source of great HELP to me.

INTERVIEWER: How are you feeling about us getting back and especially all Eziaha shared at the first meeting after the break?

CHIDINMA: I feel EXCITED and READY. I feel refreshed too. I missed the WILD community. I also loved all CaptainE’ said about how the WILD would run from now. Jesus is the goal. It’s really more about growing and maturing in our love walk with the Lord and listening to his voice. I think the way the WILD has grown, we have been taught how to tarry long with God and enjoy it rather than just a To-Do list we have to tick.

Toyin Dosunmu – Kainsoteria

INTERVIEWER: How did you feel when the break was announced? Then extended?

TOYIN: Truthfully, I needed the break too. I had some issues in the family that didn’t give me enough time, and I didn’t want to take permission at that point, but I realised I was gonna drop a ball soon enough. So I was glad for the break.

INTERVIEWER: What did you do during the break?

TOYIN: So my sister just had a baby and seeing as we don’t have a mom, I did the ‘omugwo’ for her, while tending to my hubby who had been battling health issues for over a month, I slept at every opportunity I got, because I realised I was breaking down too.

INTERVIEWER: How are you feeling about us getting back and especially all Eziaha shared at the first meeting after the break?

TOYIN: I was glad we were getting back because my baby is bigger now, my sister can handle him now and hubs is back on his feet, so I can get back fully to my WILD Activities!

Aluko Moyosore (WILD Elora)

INTERVIEWER: How did you feel when the break was announced? Then extended?

MOYOSORE: I felt it was a good idea for re- meditation of the past messages and the extension helped more for expansion (especially personal prayers)

INTERVIEWER: What did you do during the break?

MOYOSORE: I taught my Children on how to study the word, and how to pray. I also took time to revisit those WILD prayer points and scriptures, I prayed & fasted with them a couple of times.

INTERVIEWER: How are you feeling about us getting back and especially all Eziaha shared at the first meeting after the break

MOYOSORE: It’s a beautiful thing to get back together with my sisters and praying with them. His word says, “where two or more are gathered together in HIS name, there HE is in the midst of them”. We need to pray without ceasing, so I’m glad we are back.

Aderinsola Agbaje (WILD Elora)

INTERVIEWER: How did you feel when the break was announced? Then extended?

ADERINSOLA: So, I think it was mixed feelings for me. I had and have come to love the WILD, I love being in a group that makes me accountable, you know, seeing other ladies like me going through similar things and working through them together but then, I’m also the kind of person that likes to dive out on her own, test the waters and see if I’ve actually been learning. ‘Cos sometimes we hide in the ‘group ‘.

Hmmmn for the extension, it was heartbreaking ooh 🤣, but it also made me more excited and expectant because I just knew that if there was a need for an extension then God is cooking up something big for us. 😁

INTERVIEWER: What did you do during the break?

ADERINSOLA: A lot really. So as at Q4 last year, I resumed from Maternity leave but I can’t remember the last time I fasted, my bible study life wasn’t quite organised, so I was really trying to reorganise a lot of things which I had started doing before the WILD and then God told me to join the WILD, being in the WILD has helped put a lot of things in perspective for me.

So I just took the things I had learnt and put into practice during the break. I basically had a wonderful time with God and of course got busy with the other things on my plate.

INTERVIEWER: How are you feeling about us getting back and especially all Eziaha shared at the first meeting after the break

ADERINSOLA: I am super excited, super pumped, I mean clearly from all CaptainE’ said, you know we are back with a bang! I was at the edge of my seat when CaptainE’ was speaking because God literally said same to me earlier and then, she comes and makes it even clearer. I am so expectant for what God has in store for us at the WILD.

You know when the Bible says eyes have not seen, ears have not heard 1cor 2: 9 that’s the Word that describes where we are for me right now. I am truly excited to be on this journey with my WILD sisters.

INTERVIEWER: Whoosh!!! And that’s a wrap…

Reading from all our sisters, most of them had mixed emotions about the break, but still maximized their time off, with major testimonies & breakthroughs, they didn’t even allow a pause in their spiritual lives, so good!

It feels great to be back, and just flow in the NEW direction God wants us to go.

Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon enough with the next WILD updates, till then keep the fire burning.

God’s love & grace,

Toolz (your WILD bestie)
