NB: This is a detailed long post that contains every piece of information you need to know about the WILD community. Please read through patiently before you apply.

Shalom, Shalom, Sisters!

And Merry Christmas!!!

I come bearing good news. Yes, you can call me Santa, baby.

The WILD Community is NOW OPEN for new members. Whoop! Whoop!!

I am so excited about this! Sisters, start preaching the good news and informing everyone and anyone around you about The WILD powerhouse. If you’re a WILD Sister reading this, you already know all the immeasurable benefits we get from being members of this great family, so why not spread the word to those lovely sisters you care about?

If you’re not yet a WILD Sister and you’re wondering what The WILD Community is all about, I got you!

The name, WILD, is a shortened word from WILDerness which is from the Bible verse Revelations 12:6 about one of our WILD heroes, The Revelation 12 Woman (you’ll get to know all our WILD heroes soon).

Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that she would be nourished there for a thousand two hundred and sixty days (forty-two months; three and one-half years).

Would you like to know who we are in The WILD? We are a dedicated sister group of Christ followers with sound spiritual practices of Worded-Prayers, Bible Study, Worship, Fasting, and Giving while sustaining the Brutal discipline and Mastery required to translate these spiritual powers into earthly relevance via the work of our hands in every season of our lives.

Our Core Values are DEE, an acronym for:

  • D– Discipline,
  • E – Excellence,
  • E – Engagement

This is who we are as WILD Sisters, and this forms an integral part of us and our everyday lives.

Interested in knowing what our activities are? Here is a little heads-up about our major activities. We meet on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

  • WILD Wednesdays are our fast days with 3 prayer watches at 5.00am, 12.00 pm, and 5.00pm WAT for all watches, and each watch lasts for 45 minutes, 30 minutes, and 45 minutes respectively.
  • WILD Fridays are either a 2- or 3-hour meeting starting at 11:00pm WAT prompt. We have book reviews and prayers. In addition to our regular Friday meetings, we recently started a 5-hour meeting tagged the WILD IMMERSIVE this year which holds once every quarter. Trust me, our meetings are always a full-course meal, served with a measure of fun. It is everything you could think of: enlightening, interesting, insightful, and fun! You can read about our first-ever WILD Immersive here.
  • Sunday activities are for engagement, where we create a social atmosphere to bond and get to know ourselves better. However, this happens only once a month.

In addition to these activities, we also have a monthly 3-day fruit/Daniel fast. Our fast periods are moments where we build ourselves and strengthen each other. Please read the testimonies of some sisters who share their experiences here.

Furthermore, our tentative schedule of activities for the first six months of the year 2023 is out, please access the WILD Calendar here.

Wondering how we meet to fellowship together? Well, we maximise the use of WhatsApp and Zoom platforms. We currently have Whatsapp groups of not more than 50 women each and we are further divided into subgroups of about 16 women each for accountability, relationship building, and intimate fellowship.

With discipline as a core value for us as a WILD woman, we expect you to show up for all our meeting times. However, we understand that life happens, so we have made allowance for you to miss one prayer watch from the Wednesday meeting and you are also allowed to miss just one Friday meeting in a month for other commitments to your local church, family, or rest. To access these timeouts, you will need to take permission for this from your subgroup leader or V.Caps, Toyin (you’ll meet them soon, winks).

Are you having second thoughts on the commitment to discipline but would still love to be a part of the WILD experience? Don’t worry, we have got you covered. We have a mute group called the e-Fam where you will be notified of meeting times and prayer links but would not be obligated to join or report attendance.

Anyhoo, my advice will be for you to start with the main WILD and be determined to give all commitments and submission to discipline. It is indeed worth it.

Lest I forget, WE are also big on CONFESSIONS. We take confessions as a meal together within the group and are also encouraged to do so individually. We have confessions for each WILD theme and best believe we have seen the manifestations of our words (we say it, believe it and we have it).

Now, let’s get to the gist about our leaders. I once read a quote by John C. Maxwell that says, “a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” And I am certain that all of us in the WILD Community can testify that our leaders truly know the way, follow the way of Jesus Christ, and lead us aright. Our WILD Captain and leader is Eziaha Bolaji-Olojo (Captain WILD). We also have Toyin BabaFunsho as our VCaps (Both Pics below) and have 5 more leaders serving together with both Capt. and VCaps. Meet the other leaders here.

In addition, as a Community, we have a spiritual covering over us and we are privileged to have our Spiritual father in the person of Pastor Debola Deji-Kurunmi (PDDK).

We (my sisters and I) love to have you in our family as much as you desire to be with us. I encourage you to read everything shared before applying; also pray through, and be led by God.

Finally, as my Christmas and New Year gift of sisterhood, here is a sneak peek of what my WILD sisters have to say about this firebrand community.

  • “The WILD is one of the best things that happened to me in 2022. I am a people person, so I really know the need for a community, and I count the blessings of WILD so many times when I am counting my blessings. From the seasoned words and resources shared during our fasts, to the prayers and Coach’s special webinars. I am grateful to God for this great Family of God” – BOLUWATIFE DOSUNMU
  • “Love, Unashamed passion, Accountability, Community, Course correct, Sisterhood, Vulnerability. These are a few words that characterise my WILD experience. The WILD gave me new friends, sisters, and babies. This community changed my life and how I show up everywhere (no jokes). The training I have received in The WILD shapes me and makes me step up professionally, spiritually, and familycally (poetic licence please, hehe). Now I engage an ‘Amen’ corner for speakers, when I attend online meetings, I’m quick to turn on my video, and give feedback.” – DAMYFAJ
